A2.. WTF

So yeah.. My mother called earlier with some crazy news. A2 got married about two weeks ago. At first I laughed and waited for the punchline, but it failed to come. Somehow in the impressive time frame of 3 months since we broke up.. A2 got married.

All I can do is laugh. My mother said that in talking to A2, she admitted to wanting to be married so badly that she might have rushed things (and people chastised me for thinking A2 was trying to get way too serious way too fast).

I have to ask myself.. what is so special about being married? I understand the commitment between two people, the love, the attachment. But can you not have that while dating?
